Privacy

This policy covers Foresale, published by EU Studio ApS in Denmark. It says what the app stores, where, and whom it talks to. The short version: we collect nothing.

What we collect

Nothing. Foresale has no account and no server of ours, and it contains no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We receive no information about you, your apps or how you use Foresale.

Your App Store Connect key

• To read your figures, Foresale uses an App Store Connect API key that you created yourself: its key ID, its issuer ID, the private key file (.p8) and your vendor number.
• They are stored in the Keychain on your device. If you switch syncing on, Apple's iCloud Keychain carries them, end-to-end encrypted, to your own devices.
• We never see the key.
• If you connect Apple Ads, the Ads key you created is handled the same way.

Your reports

Foresale downloads your sales and analytics reports from Apple directly to your device and keeps them there, encrypted, so your figures show at once and also offline. They are excluded from backups. When you remove the key in Foresale's Settings, you can remove the stored reports with it.

Who the app talks to

• Apple's App Store Connect API, and the report files it links to.
• Apple's public App Store data (itunes.apple.com), for your apps' ratings and their places on Apple's top charts. The request carries your apps' public IDs, or the developer name you search for, and a country, nothing about you.
• The European Central Bank (www.ecb.europa.eu), for its published exchange rates, so amounts in several currencies can be shown as one. The request carries nothing about you or your apps, and you can switch currency conversion off in Settings.
• Only if you connect Apple Ads with your own key: Apple's Ads API (api.ads.apple.com) and Apple's sign-in service (appleid.apple.com).

Nobody else. No analytics, no advertising networks and no other third parties.

Widgets and notifications

Both are made on your device from the reports it already holds. Notifications are local, not push: there is no push server.

Premium

Foresale Premium is bought through Apple, which handles payment and billing in the App Store. We receive no payment details. The app reads only whether Premium is unlocked.

Your choices

• Remove the key and the stored reports in Settings at any time.
• Revoke the key in App Store Connect, under Users and Access.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected and ask for it to be deleted. For Foresale the answer is that we hold none, but write to us and we will answer. The controller is EU Studio ApS, Denmark.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so on the news page rather than quietly editing this one. The studio-wide privacy policy at eustudio.org/privacy covers this website and EU Studio's other apps.
