Where the numbers come from

Eurostat publishes household gas prices for the EU twice a year. Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom also publish official national figures, monthly to half-yearly, and each of their pages shows them with the source. The wholesale price is the World Bank's monthly TTF average; no page shows a daily exchange price.
